Updates for 2023-09-21

  • Text patch 34 will now be the compiled file. No more having to run Eat.exe
  • New sprite patch 3. Will still require you to run Eat.exe
  • Dragon raids will no longer select a GM or Monitor when destributing drops

Polymorphs

  • After 75 were giving level 88 attack speed. I tried to fix this but there was a side effect of other players seeing the 88+ attack speed, even tho the player was attacking at 80 or 82 or whatever. This might lead to animation delay which can be OP for the haste/brave classes and upsetting to watch when on the recieving end. So I have re-written how attack speed is calculated and removed the class element. I have tried to base the attack speed on frame rate, actionId, and then multiplied by level/haste/brave/wafer. This is highly experimental and could be abused if I missed something so I would appreciate all feedback and reports right away on this. Leave it in my DM.
  • Changes have been tested with the built in attack speed detection and attack speed is being enforced outside of what the client sends.
  • Several new polymorphs do not have action ids. Checking newer databases gives me some of the data but its not easily transferable to our server. Ill have to do this manually for each polymorph. Edit: Most are now done.
  • Certain polymorphs with certain weapons may crash your game, please report that too.
  • Previously disabled low animation polies have been re-enabled
  • Other players you see in polymorphs over 80 may appear to attack slightly faster than they actually are. This is a graphical issue and their speed is now capped by the server.
  • You may see your own character not benefiting from the new attack speeds after 80 but it is. Other players will see it and you will attack at the new rate.
  • New attack speeds for level 86 and 88
  • 85 attack speed will now be rewarded at level 84

Season 1 Rewards

  • Two complete sets of four new rings have been added to the game. Each ring will offer a different version of the 87 Jin Polymorph. These are restricted to your current level attack speed and will also give +10 HP/MP and +200 Weight Reduction. These rings can be traded, dropped and destroyed so plan accordingly. Once players start reaching level 87 and above. I will unlock Jin polymorphs and the rings will then change to some other bonus.
  • Two new statues have been erected in Giran.
  • Due to even more crying from non-paying supporters, bonus exp has been increased slightly for all tiers
  • Catch up mechanic “Double exp in Claudia” is now disabled
  • Test Server mode is now disabled
  • Recommend locale has now changed to Japanese (Japan). Not necessary if you are only using one monitor or do not have client lag when using multiple monitors. If you are switching from English to Japanese, I recommend you delete your Lineage.cfg, then change your locale, restart PC and then try to login. Your client will create a new Lineage.cfg for Japanese
  • Adjust new character spawn locations
  • Adjust Wizard Merlin spawn location
  • Memory Expansion Ball price up 2,000 -> 200,000 feathers
  • Wizard Merlin will now craft Memory Expansion Ball
  • Memory Expansion Ball requires 100 Ball of Memory and 500k to craft
  • Increase Absolute Barrier duration 8 -> 12 seconds
  • DR from AC has been removed in PvP and cut down by 75% in PvE. I believe DR from AC was in error on my part and will now only factor in to hit/miss in PvP.
  • Drop rate increased to 3x until I can finish database transfer

Giran Prison

  • Monster exp has been increase by 50% on 1f and doubled on 2f
  • Fix double Bandit Boss spawns on GP 2f
  • Increase monster spawns on 2f
  • Fix Greedy Prisoner not transforming
  • Evil Spirit is now Faust’s Evil Spirit
  • New monster Faust’s Demon
  • Remove lawful gains before monster transforms
  • Reduce damage from monsters before they transform
  • Fix stats on Bandit Boss Klein
  • Reduce Faust spawn count to 5 times a day
  • Bandit Boss Klein will spawn once every 30 minutes on Floor 1
  • Bandit Boss Klein now has a drop table
  • Add Jailer Taros to spawn announcements
  • Fix 1f/2f map size
  • Monsters will now drop Memory Fragment
  • New monsters on 2f. Greedy Jailer (Sword/Spear/Bow), Starved Inmate
