Updates for 2023-11-12
- Reduce Reaper (Mini Boss) HP to 6k
- Erase Magic duration down 32 -> 16
- Reverted the effect list to an earlier date. Some how it became corrupted and lost like half the late game icons. However this means that all my icon changes are now undone. I think I got most of them but if not, please report broken icons.
- Adjust Physical Dummy stats to be more like a stat-less monster.
- Add Supporter - Tier 1 token to Bunny Shop
- Text Patch 62 and Sprite Patch 8
Damage Changes
- Please note: Legless gave me this code base, please direct all thank you letters to him
- Base bonuses from STR and DEX were being calculated twice. So an Elf with 90 DEX could be getting +70 DMG instead of the intended +35 DMG or and Elf with 20 DEX giving +12 DMG instead of +6 DMG. This is now correct for all classes so Knight/Elf/DarkElf/DK/Royal will see a drop in their damage. More noticeable for class cannon builds. On the plus side, Illusionist damage will remain the same
- The same goes for +Hit as well.
- Regarding +Hit, players will now lose a bonus of +1 every 5 levels for PvP and PvE. Level bonuses will still apply
- Bonus damage from level for Royal/Warrior has been added +1 every 10 levels. They are now on par with Knight, Elf, DarkElf, Dragon Knight
- Fix proc damage from an Edoryu set at 2.5x instead of 2x
- Dragon Knight +hit scaling is down +1 every 3 levels to +1 every 4 levels
- Fix Pure stats not being calculated as pure and were instead calculated as a buff. I had to adjust certain bonuses to read the full stat amount. They will now read the PURE stat only where expected. So for example, CON will no longer give 200 HP from CON items/buffs or Enchant Dexterity will not add to the Pure Ranged Damage bonus
- Fix Dodge calculating the old math when being attacked by a monster so 30 DG was working out to -3% chance to dodge instead of the intended +30% chance to dodge in PvE. For PvP +3% is now up +30% if you had 30 DG
- I will now convert all negative numbers (like AC/DG/ER/etc) to positives and run the math that way. I have made too many mistakes crunching the numbers in my head and then switching from negative to positive.
- During these changes, Candling your character is now free. However, you must still have a Candle in your inventory.
- I recommend going back to Character Select after a level up or adding a stat to ensure the new bonus is applied
- Adding a stat on level up, after 50, is now flagged as a PURE stat for all stats except CHA
- Level up HP/MP will now scale off Pure CON/WIS
- Players will now gaing +1 DG for ever -20 AC past -100
- With the changes to pure bonuses not scaling off all stats, some of you may no longer get a critical hit
- INT users will notice a drop in damage as well because of the Pure INT changes
- New characters will notice it is far more difficult to hit monsters in Claudia. I will adjust their level to compensate at a later date
Myopia Buffs
- New buff statue in Giran. Receive three new buffs
- Myopia’s Growth^ Experience Bonus +10%
- Myopia’s Defense^ Magic Resist +10%^ Damage Reduction +2^ HP +100^ HP Regen +2
- Myopia’s Attack^ Melee Damage +3^ Ranged Damage +3^ Spell Power +3^ MP +50^ MP Regen +2
- This is a temporary buffer for now. I am thinking perhaphs it only spawns during Forgotten Island window or Friday/Saturday/Sunday, etc.
- Costs 15,000 adena to use, buffs last 30 minutes, persist through logout, cannot be canceled
